Evans Debuts New MasterSbilt Race Car for North/South 100

Camden, Ohio ace Kody Evans found himself in the pit area at the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on August 8-11 for a huge stretch of racing with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Piloting a brand-new MasterSbilt racecar with a primarily black paint scheme, Kody unfortunately was not able to transfer into the $12,000 to win 'Ralph Latham Memorial' on Wednesday, the $10,000 to win 'North/South Shootout' on Thursday, and the $50,000 to win 'North/South 100' over the weekend. Kody Evans Competes in Prairie Dirt Classic at FALS...

Next up for Kody Evans Racing (KER) was a visit to Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois on July 27-28 for the 29th edition of the 'Prairie Dirt Classic.' On Friday evening during preliminary action at the 1/4-mile bullring, Kody Evans knocked down the twelfth fastest lap in Group A during the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series time trial session and later placed fifteenth in his $2,500 to win qualifying feature event after running into problems. On Saturday night, Kody ran seventh in his B-Main and tenth in the Non-Qualifiers Race, which unfortunately kept him out of the $30,000 to win 'Prairie Dirt Classic.' Evans Steers #4G Ride to Eighth Place Outing at Atomic Speedway

Kody Evans and his #4G team found their way to Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on Saturday evening, July 14. A weekly Super Late Model program was held at the former K-C Raceway and a $2,000 payday was on the line. Kody stopped the clock fourth fastest overall during the qualifying session prior to running fourth in heat race action. After starting the 25-lap main event from the outside of the fourth row, Kody wound up finishing right where he started... in the eighth position. Kody Evans Racing Nabs Pair of Top Fives in Doubleheader!

Kody Evans Racing (KER) invaded Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio and Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana on July 6-7 for a pair of unsanctioned, $1,500 to win Super Late Model showdowns. On Friday night at Moler, Kody Evans advanced six spots in his heat race to finish third and later climbed to second in the A-Main to garner a strong runner-up effort behind only victor Chris Garnes. At Lawrenceburg on Saturday evening, Kody won his heat race in preliminary action prior to driving to a fifth place performance in the 20-lap main event, which was contested on a one-groove racing surface. Evans Kicks Off Busy Stretch with Cincinnasty Classic Win at Moler!

Another $12,000 top prize was on the line with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series tonight at Mansfield Motor Speedway in Mansfield, Ohio. Kody Evans ran sixth in his loaded heat race prior to grabbing the second transfer spot through his B-Main. After starting the 50-lap 'Freedom 50' from the inside of the tenth row, Kody eventually wound up nineteenth in the final finishing order.

(June 30, 2018) Following the win last night, the KER team invaded Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio tonight for the $12,000 to win 'Independence 50,' which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Kody Evans clicked off the fourteenth fastest time in Group B during qualifying, but later suffered nose damage in his heat race. He wound up scratching from the remainder of the program and unfortunately did not advance into the 50-lap main event.

(June 29, 2018) Kody Evans and his Kody Evans Racing (KER) team started a hectic stretch of racing leading into the 4th of July holiday with a bang earlier tonight, as they picked up their second feature win of 2018 at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio! In the unsanctioned 'Cincinnasty Classic' for the Super Late Models, Kody won his heat race in preliminary action and later started the 22-lap feature event from the pole position. Kody Evans Knocks Down Top Ten Effort at Atomic

Next up for the #4G team was a visit to Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on Saturday evening, June 23 for a weekly Super Late Model program, which paid $2,000 to the winner. Kody Evans posted the ninth quickest lap in the qualifying session before running second in his heat race. The Camden, Ohio ace then started fifth on the grid in the A-Main, but a rubbered-up racing surface meant that passing was at a premium and Kody could only muster a sixth place showing. He trailed winner R.J. Conley, Freddie Carpenter, Tyler Carpenter, Andy Bond, and Rod Conley at the unfurling of the checkered flag. Evans Reaches Victory Lane for First Time in 2018 at Moler!!!

Kody Evans and his KER team celebrated in victory lane for the first time in 2018 on Friday night, June 15 at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio! After advancing to third in his heat race, Kody started the unsanctioned Super Late Model main event from the inside of the third row. Kody then led the final eight or so laps to record the $1,500 winner's check ahead of Robby Hensley, Mike Meyers, Graylin Prince, and James Rice. The dirt-slinging action then shifted to Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday evening, June 16 where a $1,200 top prize was on the line in a weekly show. Kody won his heat race prior to slipping back to sixth in the final finishing order of the A-Main. Kody Evans Advances into Dirt Late Model Dream Prelim at Eldora

The Kody Evans Racing (KER) team invaded the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from June 7-9 for the annual running of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' In the $5,000 to win weekend opener, which was pushed back to Friday afternoon due to inclement weather, Kody Evans finished eighth in his heat race, scratched from his B-Main, and unfortunately did not advance into the 25-lap daytime sprint. Later that evening, Kody grabbed the third transfer spot through his loaded heat race and later wound up twenty-second in the final finishing order of the $10,000 to win headliner. At the "Big E" on Saturday, Kody placed twelfth in his heat race and was done for the night, which unfortunately kept him out of the $100,000 to win 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' Evans Kicks Off Memorial Day Weekend with Podium Showing at Atomic!

Kody Evans and his #4G team had plans on invading Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio, Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky, and Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from May 24-27. In a special Thursday Night Thunder program at Atomic, Kody broke in his heat race, won his B-Main, and later passed thirteen competitors during the $2,000 to win headliner to leave the former K-C Raceway with a third place podium effort behind only victor Rod Conley and runner-up Jason Montgomery. Following a rain-out on Saturday evening at Florence, the Kody Evans Racing (KER) team rolled into Eldora on Sunday for the annual running of the 'Johnny Appleseed Classic.' Kody placed second in his heat race and was running fifth in the $3,000 to win A-Main when an incident with another competitor helped drop him to twentieth in the final finishing order. Kody Evans Back in Action in Pair of Buckeye State Specials

The Kody Evans Racing (KER) team traveled to Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio and Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on May 11-12 for a pair of special events. In a $4,000 to win American Ethanol Late Model Tour show on Friday night at Attica, Kody Evans finished fourth in his heat race, second in his B-Main, and eighteenth in the 40-lap feature event. At Atomic on Saturday evening, the track's 65th Anniversary Night took place and a $2,065 top prize was on the line. Kody knocked down the third quickest lap during qualifying, ran third in his heat race, and later moved up to finish seventh in the final rundown of the unsanctioned headliner.
