Kody Evans and his #4G team wrapped up their 2017 campaign on Saturday, November 25 with the annual running of the 'Turkey Gobbler' at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio. Kody ran second in his heat race and later started the $1,500 to win main event from the outside of the second row. During the course of the unsanctioned 30-lapper, Kody ran inside of the top five and eventually left MRP with a solid fifth place showing. Finishing ahead of his Club 29 machine at the checkers was winner Tyler Carpenter, Duane Chamberlain, Josh Rice, and Randy Armes. Kody Evans Racing Makes First Trip to Dirt Track at Charlotte

The Kody Evans Racing (KER) team made their way to the state-of-the-art Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina on November 2-4 for the 11th edition of the 'World Finals.' A stout field of 75 competitors converged on the 4/10-mile speedplant for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series spectacular, which kicked off with two rounds of qualifying on Thursday evening. Kody Evans started his weekend by posting the twenty-eighth quickest lap in Group B in the first qualifying session and the thirty-second fastest time in Group A in the final session.

On Friday night at the Charlotte-area facility in the first of two $12,000 to win shootouts, Kody placed eleventh in his loaded heat race and fifteenth in his B-Main, which unfortunately kept him out of the 50-lap headliner. In Saturday's weekend finale, Kody ran seventh in his heat race and sixth in his B-Main, but once again was not able to transfer into the 50-lapper in his first-ever Charlotte visit. Evans Earns Seventh Win of '17 at Moler; Goes for Wild Ride at Atomic

Kody Evans, of Camden, Ohio, registered his seventh Super Late Model triumph of the 2017 racing season on Friday evening, October 13 at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio! Kody won his heat race in preliminary action and later led all but one circuit in the headliner to bag the $1,200 winner's check over Robby Hensley, Josh Rice, Mike Hildebrand, and Chris Vance! On Saturday night, October 14, the #4G team rolled into Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio for the 'Fall 40,' which boasted a $4,000 top prize. Kody ran second in his loaded heat race and was up to third at one point in the 40-lap main event before eventually flipping his Club 29 racecar. He emerged unscathed from the serious wreck, but was forced to retire from the unsanctioned race in the twelfth position with heavy damage. Kody Evans Finds No Luck at Atomic and Eldora Over Weekend

The Kody Evans Racing (KER) team headed to both Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio and Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio over the October 6-7 weekend for a pair of Super Late Model events. On Friday night in a $2,000 to win weekly show at the former K-C Raceway, Kody Evans laid down the quickest lap of the 28 entrants during qualifying to earn Fast Time honors prior to running second in his heat race. After getting shuffled back early in the headliner, Kody stormed all the way back up to second and was battling for the lead when he unfortunately jumped the cushion before hitting the wall. The Camden, Ohio native wound up with heavy damage to his Club 29 mount and retired in the seventeenth position.

At the "Big E" on Saturday evening, a $5,000 top prize was on the line in the annual running of the 'DIRTcar Fall Nationals.' Kody posted the second fastest time overall during American Late Model Series (ALMS) qualifying and later placed sixth in his loaded heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the ninth row in the 40-lap main event, Kody was suffering from handling woes when the race was postponed due to rain after only sixteen circuits. He made the decision not to return earlier this afternoon for the conclusion of the event and settled for a twentieth place effort. Evans Makes First Trip to Lake Cumberland; Nabs Top Ten

Kody Evans and his #4G team made their first-ever trip to Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Kentucky on Saturday evening, September 30 for the 'Harold Hardgrove Memorial,' which was sanctioned by the Schaeffer's Oil Iron-Man Championship Series. Kody knocked down the fifth quickest time in Group B during the qualifying session prior to running second in heat race action. After starting the $3,522 to win main event from the outside of the third row, Kody primarily rode in line on the one-groove racing surface and was eventually paid for an eighth place effort after 35 green flag circuits. Kody Evans Scores Sixth Victory of 2017 Campaign at Atomic Speedway!

Kody Evans Racing (KER) laid claim to their sixth feature win of the 2017 racing season on Saturday evening, September 23 at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio! After posting the fastest lap on the board during the qualifying session and winning his heat race, Kody Evans ran second early in the 25-lap feature distance before grabbing the point around the lap ten mark. Kody then went on to control the field throughout the remainder of the weekly Super Late Model show to pocket the $2,000 payday ahead of Greggie Oliver, Dave Hornikel, Billy Gullion, and Josh Bocook!

Earlier in the weekend on Friday night, September 22 at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio, Kody had his sights set on the $1,500 top prize. Evans Wins Again at Moler; Clinches Super Late Model Track Championship!

Kody Evans and his #4G team celebrated in victory lane for the fifth time in 2017 on Friday evening, September 15 at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio! Kody won his heat race in preliminary action and later wired the field in the feature to record the $1,000 victory over Josh Rice, Nathan Vawter, Blake Naylor, and Rusty Yarger. The popular win for the Camden, Ohio native also locked up the Track Championship at the southern Ohio venue! On Saturday night, September 16 in another weekly show at Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky, Kody advanced up to fifth in his heat race and despite suffering brake issues during the $1,200 to win A-Main, he was still able to record a solid fifth place showing behind only winner Jason Jameson, Ted Nobbe, Jesse Lay, and Trevor Landrum. Next up on the racing calendar for the Kody Evans Racing (KER) team was a visit to the hallowed high-banks of Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Sunday evening, September 3 for the 10th edition of the 'Baltes Classic.' The American Late Model Series (ALMS) showdown drew 38 competitors to the 1/2-mile speedplant to vie for the $3,000 winner's check. Kody Evans laid down the 28th fastest lap overall during the qualifying session prior to running ninth in his stacked heat race and tenth in his B-Main. Unfortunately, Kody was not able to find a way into the 30-lap feature event, which was eventually won by Billy Moyer. Kody Evans, of Camden, Ohio, racked up his fourth feature win of the 2017 campaign on Friday evening, August 25 at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio! Kody won his heat race in preliminary action and later beat Steve Casebolt, Craig Wolford, Larry Martin, Jr., and Roger Ruark to the checkered flag in the weekly Super Late Model showdown to bag the $1,000 payday. At Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana on Saturday night, August 26, the cars and stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series rolled into town for the $12,000 to win 'Whiskey City 60.' Kody Evans Racing Tackles Moler for $3,500 to win Ike Moler Memorial

Kody Evans Racing (KER) strolled into Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio on Friday evening, August 18 for the 11th edition of the 'Ike Moler Memorial.' The unsanctioned Super Late Model special at the southern Ohio facility drew 28 competitors to vie for the $3,500 winner's check. Kody Evans was hampered by a broken axle early in the night, but battled back to grab the fourth transfer spot through his heat race. Kody then started the headliner from the inside of the ninth row and had moved up inside of the top ten before contact from another competitor resulted in a broken right front ball joint. Evans Enters North/South 100 Weekend at Florence Speedway...

Kody Evans and his #4G team invaded the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on August 10-12 for the 35th Annual 'North/South 100,' which was once again sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. The three-day extended weekend in the Commonwealth of Kentucky kicked off on Thursday night with the 'North/South Shootout,' which boasted a $10,000 top prize and drew a stout 67 car field. Kody laid down the seventeenth fastest lap in Group B during qualifying prior to running ninth in his loaded heat race and twenty-first in his B-Main. Unfortunately, the Camden, Ohio native was unable to make the start in the 50-lap main event that was ultimately won by Jimmy Owens.

On Friday evening, the 'North/South 100' officially got underway with a double set of qualifying heat races at the Cincinnati-area facility. Kody placed tenth in both of his heat races and the team feared that his Club 29 racecar was bent from a recent incident at Fairbury. Therefore, Kody opted to scratch from his B-Main on Saturday and did not transfer into the $50,000 to win 'North/South 100.' Kody Evans Racing (KER) traveled to Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio and Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana over the August 4-5 weekend. On Friday night in a $2,000 to win unsanctioned special at Moler, Kody Evans moved up to second in his heat race to earn the inside of the second row for the start of the main event. The Camden, Ohio rising star then battled hard for a top five showing in the headliner in southern Ohio before settling for a solid sixth place effort. Evans Flashes Speed Throughout Prairie Dirt Classic Weekend at FALS

The #4G team ventured to Fairbury American Legion Speedway on July 28-29 for the 28th edition of the 'Prairie Dirt Classic,' which was once again sanctioned by the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series. A robust field of 65 Super Late Model teams piled into the pit area in downtown Fairbury, Illinois to vie for the whopping $30,000 winner's check. On Friday night, Kody Evans impressively tripped the clock third quickest in Group A during the qualifying session prior to slipping back to eighth in his 25-lap preliminary feature, which paid $2,500 to the victor. At FALS on Saturday evening, Kody climbed to fourth in his loaded B-Main to finish behind only Rick Eckert, Darrell Lanigan, and Billy Moyer, but that effort was unfortunately two spots shy of transferring into the 100-lap PDC. In the $2,000 to win 'Prairie Dirt Shootout' for non-qualifiers, the Camden, Ohio upstart ran into trouble early in the distance and retired from the 25-lapper in the eighteenth spot. Kody Evans Racing (KER) celebrated in victory lane for the third time together in 2017 on Saturday evening, July 15 at the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky! Kody Evans won his heat race in preliminary action and earned enough passing points in doing so to claim the pole position for the weekly 30-lap main event. Kody then wired the field at the undersized 1/2-mile oval to lead flag-to-flag en route to pocketing the $1,200 payday over Robby Hensley, Conner Meade, Jesse Lay, and Trevor Landrum!

On Friday night, July 14 at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio, Kody unfortunately blew a right rear tire in his heat race and had to start at the tail of the $1,000 to win feature event. The Camden, Ohio ace then blitzed through the pack during the weekly A-Main to earn a sterling runner-up effort behind only victor Nick Latham. In the tripleheader weekend finale on Sunday, July 16 at Mansfield Motor Speedway in Mansfield, Ohio, Kody laid down the quickest lap overall during qualifying before suffering another flat tire prior to the drop of the green flag in his heat race. Evans Tackles Eldora Speedway for Dirt Late Model Dream
(June 11, 2017)
The #4G team rolled into the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from June 8-10 for the 23rd running of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream,' which once again carried a hefty $100,000 winner's check. The three-day crown jewel spectacular at the 1/2-mile, high-banked speedplant drew 79 Super Late Model competitors. Things kicked off at the "Big E" with a pair of Twin 25 preliminary programs, which paid $5,000 and $10,000 to win respectively.

Kody Evans placed ninth in his heat race and thirteenth in his B-Main on Thursday night, while he wound up finishing sixth in both his heat race and his consolation event on Friday evening. When the stakes were raised on Saturday in the Buckeye State, Kody ran eleventh in his stacked heat race and twenty-first in his B-Main, which unfortunately kept him out of the 100-lap 'Dirt Late Model Dream' that was eventually won by Scott Bloomquist. Behind the wheel of an Asphalt Late Model on Sunday, June 4 at Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia, Ohio, the Camden, Ohio youngster was leading late in the race before ignition woes cost him a possible win.
